As Senator O'Toole has said, removing Dingle from all of the sign posts is slightly comical but mainly crazy. There is no support in the Gaeltacht, the Galltacht or County Kerry for this move. It is painting us as backward people. What is officialdom trying to do? Is it trying to hide the place from foreign tourists?
