He asked about the pupil-teacher ratio, the PTR. The Minister for Education and Science, Deputy Hanafin, has provided 660 extra resource teachers. She is working with the Minister for Finance on the PTR issue and is hoping for a breakthrough before the next budget.

Senator Feeney asked for a debate on breast cancer. She referred to Professor Crown and the MRI scan. I acknowledge her apologies for leaving to go to a meeting.

Senator Henry asked for a debate on the obesity task force and the example being given by the House. I suggest she speaks to Senator Norris as she seems to think his pudding intake was too much.
