I, Mary McAleese, President of Ireland, do hereby inform you that, after consultation with the Council of State, I have this day referred the Bill entitled Health (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill 2004 to the Supreme Court pursuant to Article 26 of the Constitution for a decision on the question as to whether the said Bill or any provisions thereof is or are repugnant to the Constitution or any provisions thereof given under my hand and seal on this day 22 December 2004.
