Educational Facilities: Motion.

6:00 pm

Sheila Terry (Fine Gael)

One would not need to be from Mars to observe the significant lack of transparency in the Minister's decision or to see that political interference influenced that decision. This is what we are talking about. We are not here to pit one college against the other. There is no doubt that St. Angela's is a wonderful college. That is not in question. What we are doing is questioning and trying to establish how the Minister came to his decision.

Senator Feeney said that he made his decision based on sound economic and educational reasons.
