I move:

That Seanad Éireann, in view of the political interference in respect of the decision of the former Minister for Education and Science, Deputy Noel Dempsey, to close St. Catherine's College of Education, Sion Hill, calls on the newly appointed Minister for Education and Science, Deputy Hanafin, to rescind this decision forthwith.
