Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Bannon that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform to clarify the position on funding for child care services for Granard, Ardagh and Legan, County Longford.

I have also received notice from Senator Bradford of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to respond urgently to the jobs crisis in Mitchelstown, County Cork, where there have been hundreds of job losses recently and where further redundancies have been announced.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
