As one of the very few Members of this House on the other side of the barriers last Saturday at Dromoland, I must say the protests were dignified and enjoyable. It is important we exercise our freedom of expression and I thought the Garda presence there was unnecessarily high.

With regard to freedom of expression, I was very proud of my former RTE colleague, Ms Carole Coleman, in her interview with President Bush last week.
