Will the Leader arrange for a debate on certain aspects of the legislation governing political donations? I refer specifically to the full page advertisements which appeared in national newspapers, including the Irish Independent, which were political in nature and referred to the issue of a new terminal at Dublin Airport. The legislation is clear and ignorance of the law is no excuse. The person who placed that advertisement was trying to bully the Government, which was wrong. In the context of an election, this was a very political act.
