There are no details on the outcomes in these cases. Everybody agrees that we should assist first-time buyers. However, every house owner in the country was a first-time buyer. It has never been easy to buy a house. Ireland has a culture of home ownership which is probably unique. People in some countries in Europe find it hard to believe that the ideal in Irish culture is to own one's own home. In Holland, people rent for a lifetime.
