Frank Feighan (Fine Gael)

On many occasions, I have raised the issue of the non-recruitment of 2,000 extra gardaí since the last election. The Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, Deputy McDowell, has once again highlighted the need for these extra gardaí. I hope it is not a case of more election promises.
