Brendan Daly (Fianna Fail)

I thank the Minister of State for coming to the House and for his work in the aviation industry generally. I congratulate him and wish him well in the European elections following his selection as a candidate last Saturday. He will go to Europe at an important time for the aviation industry, given that negotiations are under way on an open skies policy and on the future of Europe-US travel.
