Estimates for 2004: Motion.
Collective Cabinet responsibility has been thrown out the window. When attempts are made to rectify it with a half-baked apology and a commitment made by the Taoiseach to howls of laughter in the Lower House, another Senator and Deputy pour cold water on the Hanly report. The Minister for Finance, Deputy McCreevy, decided that his pastime and hobbyhorse at Punchestown was worthy of €15 million of taxpayers' money.
