In view of the recent shocking report on the higher than average use of illicit drugs in Ireland in comparison to Europe, the need for the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs to outline when the regional drugs task force will start work on the ground, as a budget of only €60,000 has been allocated; and when there will be a real commitment to preventing the spread of the scourge of drugs in rural Ireland.
