I had not intended to comment on the Hanly report but we have just witnessed a lamentable outbreak of parochialism. That is what has the country in its current state. If we commission a serious report and if we are looking to the welfare of patients, and one is not interested merely in one's own re-election prospects, then we will get ahead.
