Senator Finucane raised the issue of the savings scheme and the penalty clause contained therein in the event that one lost one's job. I raised this matter with the Minister for Finance, Deputy McCreevy, in the House. He was aware of the difficulty and that recommendations had been made. Perhaps, he is reflecting on it.
