Dermot Ahern (Louth, Fianna Fail)

I thank Senators for their Report Stage contributions and for the constructive arguments they put forward when the Bill came before the Seanad in December. The Bill was examined at considerable length by the Dáil where, with all due respect, debate was informed by previous discussion of the legislation in this House. Many of the amendments discussed in the Dáil originated with Senators, whom I thank for their input.

I wish the digital hub well under the auspices of the new agency. As Senators know, the agency is up and running and has been a very great success. I congratulate my predecessor in office who was involved in the establishment of this concept originally. I am coming to the fact that it was Senator O'Rourke.
