The Order of Business today is No. 1, report of the Joint Committee on Standing Orders, to be taken without debate, notwithstanding anything in Private Standing Orders, at the conclusion of the Order of Business; No. 2, Companies (Auditing and Accounting) Bill 2003 – Order for Second Stage and Second Stage, to be taken at the conclusion of No. 1 and to conclude not later than 1.30 p.m., with the contributions of spokespersons not to exceed 15 minutes, those of all other Senators not to exceed ten minutes and on which Members may share time, the Minister to be called on to reply not earlier than 15 minutes before the conclusion of Second Stage, at approximately 1.15 p.m.; No. 3, Broadcasting (Major Events Television Coverage) (Amendment) Bill 2003 (Seanad Bill amended by the Dáil) – Report and Final Stages, to be taken at 2.30 p.m. and to conclude not later than 3.30 p.m.; No. 4, statements on cancer and the provision of cancer services, to be taken at the conclusion of No. 3 at 3.30 p.m., if No. 3 is not concluded earlier, to conclude not later than 5.30 p.m., with the contributions of spokespersons not to exceed 15 minutes, those of all other Senators not to exceed ten minutes and on which Members may share time, the Minister to be called on to reply not later than ten minutes before the conclusion of the statements, at approximately 5.15 p.m.; and No. 11, motion No. 28, to be taken from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be a sos from 1.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. and from 5.30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
