Central Mental Hospital: Motion.
10:30 am
Timmy Dooley (Fianna Fail)
I understand it has been reviewed in recent times. There is a need to ensure that it is provided. Despite the fact that people in the facility do not have friends, as legislators, it is incumbent on us not to see ourselves legislating only for those who have their freedom. It has more to do with the people who need our assistance. The dignity and quality of their lives is of importance to us and I am sure the Minister of State will be forthcoming in providing the finance necessary for the re-design and development of this facility.
