In my understanding, the word "republicanism" means democracy. It does not mean something opposed to democracy or an alternative to it. We all have to give our support and hope that the important and somewhat tense discussions will have the desired result. We hope thereafter that we will see a new stability and quality of peace that unfortunately we have not fully seen to date.
