Business of Seanad.

10:30 am

Rory Kiely (Fianna Fail)

I have received notice from Senator Bannon that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs to outline the reasons for the discrepancies in the funding cutbacks to Longford Community Resources, which provides valuable services, projects and training for the marginalised in the community.

I regard the matter raised by the Senator as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment, and it will be taken at the conclusion of business.
