Senator Minihan made a number of suggestions that should be considered. These matters are under consideration: a number of the schemes he mentioned are already under way. The Senator also referred to an incident in which an elderly person wanted to return a house – a valuable asset – to the local authority in lieu of senior citizen accommodation. There is a scheme in place that would meet the needs of the person concerned. If the Senator wants more information, I will be happy to give it to him. He also mentioned the area of transport.
