Employment Permits Bill 2003: Second Stage.

We have moved away from the subject of permits. However, I had to digress because Senator Ryan was trying to imply that Fianna Fáil was suspect. Fianna Fáil is the party which steered through the second referendum on the Nice treaty. It is in favour of European expansion. It used Ireland's membership of the European Union for the benefit of this country. It is clear, however, that we must also protect the interests of the economy and the people.
