This is a hugely complex subject. It would be an ideal world if we could run up banners that say no to war and all the problems would go away. Sadly, it is not as simple as that. This country has always deferred to the UN and we must try to ensure it will be the focus of attention in the coming months. We must also hope that the UN will address its internal problems and ask why it has failed on Iraq over the past decade.
