Business of Seanad.

10:30 am

Rory Kiely (Fianna Fail)

I have received notice from Senator Minihan that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to outline the current position regarding the redevelopment and upgrading of Cork Airport and the timeframe for this work.

I have also received notice from Senator John Paul Phelan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to indicate the steps she will take to find replacement jobs following the job losses at the TexTech factory in Kilkenny.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
