With regard to what is happening at Shannon Airport, it is not appropriate for this House to condemn people while the matter is sub judice. It is wrong and prejudicial. We should remind ourselves that the women from the Ploughshare group in Liverpool a few years ago who, in a similar action, damaged Hawk fighters being sent by Britain to Indonesia to bomb the hell out of the East Timorese, were acquitted by a jury because they had intervened to prevent a greater evil.
