The Taoiseach has said he will not say anything to the Dáil until the Government is ready to issue its proposals. It is evident that senior civil servants have found a compliant Government which is willing to meet their objective of closing down the freedom of information service. The spending of taxpayers' money will be hidden by the Government, driven by a party which proposed to keep Fianna Fáil clean but is now allowing it to return to its old ways.
