I have received notice from Senator Quinn that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform to consider legislation to make it impossible for any future administration to reintroduce a passports for sale scheme except within a rigorous and transparent statutory framework.

I have also received notice from Senator Morrissey of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs to make a statement on the discussions, plans and financing, that are taking place in relation to a pedestrian bridge over the canal at Coolmine level crossing.

I have also received notice from Senator O'Meara of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to ensure that the statutory redundancy payments due now to the former Miza workers in Roscrea, County Tipperary, are immediately paid, and if she is enquiring into the operation of the examinership of this company.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
