Adjournment Matters. - Insurance Costs.

 

However, the evidence is that the sound and determined action taken at Government and industry levels has paid off, with 2001 overseas visitor numbers to Ireland at six million and total foreign revenue earnings up by 8% to almost €4 billion. The Minister believes that the outturn will be better this year than originally expected, with current forecasts suggesting a small percentage increase in visitor numbers that would return us close to the performance in 2000.
