I have received notice from Senator Fergal Browne that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to give a commitment to road building projects and the reason over the last two years of the national development plan only 30 kilometres of motorway out of a target of 711 kilometres have been completed.

I have also received notice from Senator Brendan Daly of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to clarify if the European Court of Justice judgment on transatlantic travel applies to Ireland's bilateral agreements as they relate to the Shannon stopover; the impact the verdict will have on Shannon Airport's transatlantic traffic; and if he can allay the fears in the region that the judgment will have a negative impact on Shannon Airport traffic.

I have also received notice from Senator Jim Higgins of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to make a statement on the refusal by his Department to approve urgently needed additional accommodation for the multi-ethnic Scoil Croí Íosa, Ballyhaunis, County Mayo.

I have also received notice from Senator Terry Leyden of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to outline the situation with regard to the major extension to Fuerty national school, County Roscommon.
