I understand the Minister's reluctance to accept my amendment, which merely tries to remind him of the need for alacrity in relation to this matter. He has indicated that he intends to move speedily and I am sure the gesture I made will serve as nothing more than a reminder.

Government amendment No. 9:

In page 9, subsection (1), lines 32 and 33, to delete "submit to the Minister for approval, with or without amendment by the Minister," and substitute "present to the Minister and the Minister for Finance".
