For example, the film industry is one of the highest earners in America and is responsible for a large slice of the total exports of the US. Ireland has seen recently some of the benefits of this industry with a number of Hollywood productions choosing Ireland as a location. Imagine how many more would be likely to choose Ireland if they believed they had the full range of post-production digital facilities available to them. That would mean more jobs for film makers and the obvious associated spin-offs.
