Kevin Moran: The Commissioners of Public Works employ a Deer Keeper in the Phoenix Park. He is fully trained and carries out humane dispatches of deer when required following the OPW Deer Safe Operating Procedures which have been approved by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.

The OPW is now finalising planning documentation and a Part 9 Planning application will be lodged in the next number of weeks. Until Planning, the required Public Procurement Process and Contract award are completed it is not possible to give a definitive date for construction completion.
