Written Answers — Department of Health: Disease Management (30 May 2017): Simon Harris: I refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 481 on 23 May 2017, which explains the testing procedures undertaken in Ireland to diagnose Lyme disease. Any decision concerning testing for Lyme disease in an individual case would be a made following discussion between the doctor and the patient based on the clinical facts.
