Seán Canney: The Garda Station at Barraduff was completely refurbished in 2010 which included the incorporation of the Married Quarters into the Garda Station for Garda operational purposes. The Married Quarters is therefore not available for other use.

Seán Canney: The 2012 and 2013 policing plans for An Garda Síochána identified 139 Garda stations for closure. Of the 139 Garda stations 36 of the properties have been sold or are sale agreed.
