John Cregan: I propose to share time with Deputies Barry Andrews, Dooley, Conlon and Byrne. I am pleased to speak on this legislation, which is important from the point of view of general practitioners and the public. I commend Deputy Reilly on introducing this Bill. On occasion we criticise the Opposition during Private Members' time but it is only fair to give credit where it is due.
