A quarterly review of the programme for Government was discussed at a previous meeting and it was agreed that we will try to get the Minister and the Department to appear before the committee on a quarterly basis. The latent defects redress scheme was raised in a number of submissions and it was agreed that it will form part of our work programme.

Steven Matthews: That is a good idea. The proposal is that there will be a virtual meeting on the report on deaths in homelessness and Senator Fitzpatrick wishes also to examine the location of services.
