Gerry Horkan: Yes, I did remember the off-peak Luas fares. There was definitely a capacity constraint on the Dundrum line in pre-Covid times. People were actually getting the Luas from Dundrum to Kilmacud so they could cross the track to come back into town, because they could not get on the Luas in Dundrum. I do not think it is that bad now, but it was. This was before the carriages were linked, etc....

Gerry Horkan: Yes. There are times of the week and day when there will be a problem with capacity. Clearly, we want to try to get people to want to use public transport and we want to remove all the barriers to that. If a person is not able to get on a bus, that will be a huge disincentive in their trying to do so the next day.
