Does the Garda Commissioner believe in community policing and its benefits? Does he believe community policing to be considered best practice?

Imelda Munster: When the Garda Commissioner talks about community policing he sees it as those members of the team who are out in the community, walking around the community, chatting with youths and familiarising themselves with troubled areas and all of that sort of thing. That is what the Garda Commissioner would consider community policing.
