Sometimes kids of a certain age, when they are going into their teenage years, need phones. For example, they may arrive at the house before a parent gets home from work and need a phone to check in. Kathleen Funchion: As politicians, we agree on social media. I always describe it as a necessary evil in our lives. I would not have it if I could avoid it. However, the point Luke made is really good, to be fair, because there are some good aspects.
