Seanad: Judicial Appointments Commission Bill 2017: Report Stage (Resumed) (27 Nov 2019)

David Norris: I know, but that is a bit odd and vague. Turning to Government amendment No. 7, I am a little surprised the Minister has not included academics in this. Could he explain to the House why, having excluded judges, barristers, solicitors and all the rest, he lets academics in? The Minister is shaking his head but I do not know quite what that means.

Seanad: Judicial Appointments Commission Bill 2017: Report Stage (Resumed) (27 Nov 2019)
