Head 18 reads: "It shall be an offence to intentionally end the life of a foetus otherwise than in accordance with the provisions of this Bill." Before calling Deputy Durkan and Senator Mullen, I will ask Dr. Crowe or Mr. Prasifka whether there is any situation in which the ethical guidelines of the Medical Council are in conflict with legislation and whether the same could arise in this case. We have not seen the legislation but, in light of the heads, could there be a conflict?
