Seán Ó Fearghaíl: I must now deal with a postponed division relating to Second Stage of the Protection of Employees (Trade Union Subscriptions) Bill 2024, which took place on Wednesday, 28 February 2024. The amendment seems to allow the democratically elected mayor, to whom responsibilities are devolved, to devolve them back again to the chief executive, from whom they were taken in the first place.
