Denis O'Donovan: Many voices can be heard. If the House would like me to adjourn for half an hour until there is ciúnas, I will do so. I find it hard to hear the Senator speaking. The Members making noise know who they are. They should have a little respect for those who have the floor.

Denis O'Donovan: I am sorry to interrupt the Senator but there are conversations going on on one side of the House and I can barely hear the Senator. Senators should be respectful of those who are speaking. Voices carry in the Chamber and people are continually coming in so if Senators want to converse they should go out to the waiting room.
