Bernard Durkan: Why did it close? Was there a particular reason for its closure? Were there complaints or was there an investigation? A laboratory does not usually close voluntarily when it has work to do.

For example, did it close because there was something happening that it was worried about, because of complaints made or because management was not in accordance with the highest possible standards?
