Out of the Department's engagement with them at that time, was there any arrangement made for the Comptroller and Auditor General to examine how the taxpayers' money is being spent within that company?

I just wondered whether the Department took advantage of the fact that it was now engaging directly with the company on this issue to bring about a sure and certain way of accounting for the taxpayers' money separately or by way of oversight generally so that there is a clear line of management and oversight of all that money.
