Alan Kelly: It is interesting. The amendment proposes that the public water forum shall have a role in reviewing the use of fluoride in the water supply and to issue recommendations to Irish Water on the use of fluoride in water. However, the policy on the fluoridation of water in the legislation governing the use of fluoride in water supplies is not a matter for myself but for the Minister for Health.
