Public Accounts Committee: Business of Committee (30 May 2019)

Catherine Connolly: I support that. I have also raised the issue of IMERC, which is mentioned in the report, in that regard. I certainly support the Deputy's proposal to come back to this document.

Public Accounts Committee: Business of Committee (30 May 2019)

Catherine Connolly: Perhaps we should decide how we are going to proceed.

Public Accounts Committee: Business of Committee (30 May 2019)

Catherine Connolly: It will inform what we ask. We will be better informed.

Public Accounts Committee: Business of Committee (30 May 2019)

Catherine Connolly: I wish to indicate a particular interest in that. I am usually at every meeting but I have a particular difficulty with the meeting on our return as it clashes with a meeting of the Joint Committee on the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands. I ask the Chair to consider that and to discuss this item when I am here.

The issues he is raising are not merely historic. He is raising processes...

Public Accounts Committee: Business of Committee (30 May 2019)

Catherine Connolly: I agree with what you are saying but is it not a much bigger issue? In Galway, the Corrib Great Southern Hotel is owned by the State.
