Jerry Buttimer: In the light of the fact that three council workers were suspended for filling a pothole, does the Government have any plan to overhaul the health and safety legislation or change working conditions for council staff? In the case in question, the three workers were on their way back to their depot when they stopped to fill potholes in the common good.
