Billy Kelleher: If the Tánaiste wanted any evidence that our health services are in crisis, all she need do is go over to the Oireachtas print shop and see the number of Fine Gael Ministers and Deputies dispensing leaflets pointing out that one can get EU cross-border treatment and avail of treatment abroad schemes. Deputy Michael Collins from west Cork raised a case quite recently of a 91 year old man...

Billy Kelleher: I think the letter that was sent by Professor McCaffrey was factually incorrect He said that in observing the proceedings he discovered that the Oireachtas on the 18 October has already taken a crucial vote to repeal the eighth amendment. We did not take a vote to repeal the eighth amendment. We actually took a vote that we would not retain the eighth amendment in full.

Does this happen in practice in certain countries?
