Tony Killeen: A claim for payment of a statutory redundancy lump sum out of the social insurance fund was received in the Department in respect of the person concerned on 28 March 2006. Normally, it takes four to six weeks to issue a lump sum payment. When the supporting documentation is received from the employer, I can arrange to expedite the payment to the person concerned as a matter of urgency.
